Metric Century
held Annually the First Saturday in August
Check out our site and then check out our Ride

We have bike rides for beginners as well as the more experienced riders. We have a 20K ride with one SAG stop for the novice, and a 40K for the more experienced but not quite up for the LONG distance. These rides are in the country. Beautiful back country roads, less traffic.

Our Feature Ride the METRIC CENTURY
100K

100K or 62.5 miles of beautiful North Carolina, beginning just outside of Carthage, in the Heart of North Carolina, we keep this ride North and West of U.S. 15-501. Away from heavy Traffic, but not away from challenges. This ride goes through the Historic little town of Glendon( don't Blink) then skirts Highfalls and crosses over into Chatham Co. by farms with tall corn, fat watermellons, and cows grazing on the hillside, by hardwood forest. You might even see a few deer, or wild turkey. OH and you'll be close enough to hear some GUN FIRE from the House in the Horseshoe, Annual Revolutionary War Battle Reenactment.

It's a good idea to come prepared to spend the day with so much going on like the Annual Robins Farmers Day, 32nd Annual Revolutionary War Battle Reenactment, Farmers Markets Open all over the county, Antiques in Cameron. So much to see and do!
